Understanding Cravings and Mindless Eating for Weight Management

Constant cravings and mindless snacking can have a profound impact on your weight, energy, mood and overall wellbeing.

There could be several reasons behind this. Perhaps you reach for food whenever you feel strong emotions like stress, anger, boredom, happiness, or sadness. Or maybe you've developed a habit of snacking while doing activities like watching TV or working. Some also believe snacking means consuming fewer calories than having a proper meal, hoping it'll aid weight loss.

But there are plenty of ways to tackle these cravings and snacking habits. From creating a supportive environment to eating balanced meals to maintain stable blood sugar levels and making better snack choices, there are simple strategies to try.

Join me to discuss implementing these strategies and take control of your nutrition for the results you desire!

MASTER THE BASICS - THURSDAY WEBINARS

Despite the progress being made with body positivity and self-acceptance, weight gain  is still a big concern for many women, particularly those over the age of 40 that seemingly overnight experience body composition changes: less muscle and more fat (especially around the waist), plus all the symptoms that come with perimenopause… understandably one can feel unmotivated, defeated.

Some women go to extremes to try and get rid of unwanted fat. Trying quick fixes, or adopting yet another fad diet. Cutting out food groups and demonizing the foods they love. Often they eat so little that their calorie intake is not even covering the minimum needed for their bodies to function properly. This is not a sustainable or healthy approach.

Our changing bodies don’t need punishment. They need more grace and nourishment.

Isn’t it time we focus on eating to feel energetic, stronger, and more positive?
